Brilliant, Amazing
One of the things we do well on our vintage repair side of things is listen to our customers. There’s a temptation when you repair, to take amps back to factory spec. So when a particularly dynamic 1964 non-TB AC30 was brought in, the first thing we had to do was listen. Then we had to work out what was going on.
After building a prototype with more switches on it than you could shake a wiggly stick at, we managed to work out why this amp was so wonderfully dynamic.
On this version, the internal workings have been distilled right down. A single input jack goes to two channel mixers – Bright and Normal. Then there are:
- Deep switch – off gives you more space for pedals
- Master volume, with Enable
- Dynamics rotary switch
- Warm / Hot switch
- 15W / 30W – half power switch
And an HF cut.
