TODP Pedal
We’ve been servicing and repairing Jay, Mike and Bonehead’s amps for the Liam Gallagher tour since mid 2019. We built a custom TODP for Pete, Jay’s tech, in 2021, and made a new First Edition PCB version for Jay early in 2022.

Witch Fever
Custom TODP pedal
Witch Fever have gone from strength to strength since we started following them on Instagram back in 2019, with a signing from Sony / MFN and festivals and tour dates with the likes of Idles and Cancer Bats. Last year, to celebrate a milestone number of followers on Instagram, we were delighted when Amy accepted a hand assembled custom pedal, no. 13F “Bloodbath”, for her services to Doom / Punk. It was made coincide with the release of their track “In Birth”. It has been used on Witch Fever’s current album, Congregation.

“I’m lucky to have found a ’73 Fender Vibrolux from TLGS and an old seventies Traynor YGM-3, and it’s lucky I know Jonny Brelliott to keep them running. He is an absolute wizard with amps and he’s taught me a lot about them.”
“I’m not married to any given pedal, I’m always changing them up. I love a good fuzz, I always like to have a fuzz under my foot. Most recent favourite is a one-knob silicon fuzz face variant from Brelliott.”

Session musician, and main test guy
Branston Mistress, Hybrid Fuzz
Gary has the first production Branston Mistress “Betty Sue”. It comes in with nearly enough regularity to keep it in good shape. We’ve been working together since the last millennium, and Betty Sue was made for him, before he even knew he wanted one. He’s our main man for testing, demos and shows.

Tin Foil Fox
Branston Mistress, Custom Fuzzes, TODP
“The Brelliott Trailblazer 20 is a wonderful amp. It has glassy mids, where the notes pop out at you, and no loss on the top frets. It is a delight.”
“I’ve been lucky enough to have a Branston Mistress for around four years now. It’s a fantastic, dynamic amp that responds very well to my playing style. It has grit, punch and chime. It also looks exceptionally cool.”
Gavin was the first person to buy a Branston Mistress – our first sale!

Branston Mistress
“Yes! Yes, yes, yes!” (Branston Mistress “Rosie” Mk 1). That’s about as good as it gets from my father-in-law.
Tim used to test amps for Watkins in the early 70s, and Charlie’s son used to work for him as a roadie. His main ride is a 1959 Watkins Dominator, and only uses the Mistresses when he’s away from home; saves carrying one.
Renny Badham
The Pleasuredome
Custom BBB Stage, TODP
I’ve know Renny since school – he was blatantly the best guitarist there, and was destined to always be in bands & doing music.
He came to test drive the BBB at the Birmingham Guitar Show in 2019, and ordered his amp early 2020, receiving it just before lockdown.
We developed the balanced line-out, S-R loop, and later on, phase reversal and silent switching. He has also caused Tolex envy, with his custom 1″ shorter all white cab.
See the RENNY’S “BIG IRON” BBB-30 blog.

“Having used Brelliotts fuzz pedals and adorned them with my mutated scrawling, I can say a more deep and diabolical crunch would be hard to find… Nasty! Brelliott’s fuzz pedals will frazzle yer cockles and toast yer cerebellum.”
Hooowl Boat – grunts, rumblings & noise
“Jonny Brelliott has been our tech man from the start. He’s helped with amps, pedals, synths, recordings and production. What a gent!”
Fang Grizzler – noises
“Oh, maaan!! That rang dang diddly dang knows how to shamalang the ding dong like no other. I only use his amps on stage.”

Trailblazer 20, TODP
“I’ve got two pieces of Brelliott tech that see frequent studio use: The TrailBlazer SCS-20 and the Tube Overdrive Distortion Plus pedal.”
“The TrialBlazer (SCS-20) is without a doubt the amp that got me back into tube amplification, after some disappointing experiences over the years; to me it harkens back-to-school setups: no fancy GEQs, compressors, emulations or effects processing, just plug in a guitar and whack it up! Whenever I set it up for clients to ‘just try’ it ends up being the amp that’s recorded in session. Every. Single. Time.”
“The Tube Overdrive Distortion Plus is the swiss army knife of distortion pedals; it has countless distortion modes and tone carving options. Suitable for bass and guitar too meaning it’s incredibly versatile. The Big Muffs been untouched and gathering dust since I’ve had it…”

Custom Fuzz, Custom TODP, Branston Mistress, BBB-30
“I finally got round to having a play on my new Brelliott Amps and damn, Jon can build amps. I currently have a Big Balled Bertha 30w head (BBB-30) and (Branston) Mistress combo amp with rectifier switching and two 10” speakers. Both of these amps have a clean and dirty mode, with a beautifully simple control layout but stunning versatility. Visually Jon goes for a more retro aesthetic, but don’t be fooled, these amps are absolute depraved beasts, in the best kind of way.”
Stuart Robson | SBC Guitars.
Stuart is currently changing over to a custom white Mistress (by F.A Cabs) with an updated chassis, based on the “Rosie the Rebel” build.

“I work predominantly with virtual amps, but nothing beats the raw power of an amp and Brelliott amps have a raw like a t-rex. That beautiful fuzz is a sound to behold.”
Liam Salter – musician, producer
Liam has the very first BBB, the original 2014 Test Dog, which he brings in from time to time for checking and overhauls. He favours the integral dummy load and line-out approach.

“I never really got on with valve amps, and so saw myself as more of a 70s tranny kinda guy. Then I got my hands on a Brelliott Trailblazer, and now all my other amps are going on eBay.”
Danny Pullar | Roulette Waltz
Danny has worked with us on the design of the web site, and media, and has the first 6550 based 70W, developed on AmpModula boards, along with early Deluxe TODP and Fuzz Designer hand-wired builds.

TrailBlazer 50 (first AmpModula version)
“The Trailblazer is possibly the best amp I’ve used, no hyperbole just a great sounding piece of gear. Easy to use and just perfect for the types of sounds I want from an amp. I particularly like the lack of standby switch and how the entire amp is just geared towards getting you, the player, playing as quick as possible. I cannot sing the praises of it enough.”

James Delin
Rubella Moon, guitar/vocals
BBB-30 ser no. 0001
We worked with James to produce the first commercially produced BBB amp, for CDS studios in Bromsgrove. He bought the amp when the studio closed, and brings it in from time to time for checking and updating.
