The amps were designed in one of two ways – to do their thing on their own, or to be a transparent platform for pedals. I wanted to make pedals that make the sound the way I hear it in my head. And so I make two kinds of pedals – overdrives and fuzz. And they ain’t the same, oh no, not one bit…
A majority of builds are made to order, though there are usually a few in stock. You can specify pretty much any part, as long as they’re available, and they are up to the job. You also have a choice of build type, from point-to-point, tag strip, turret board, PCB, or pretty much any hybrid.

Tube Overdrive & Distortion Plus.
It’s essentially that – a simple drive circuit, into a clipping selector, filtering, anti-blocking, a single-ended low voltage pentode valve, a recovery amp, and then a filter.
On the TODP you’ve got various ways to control that – 3 pots and 4 switches are enough for most people.
If you know what your sound is, you can simplify that down to 3 knobs for stage use, or go the other way – up to 4 knobs and 6 switches for full studio control with the Deluxe.
fuzz designer
The Fuzz Designer started off as an idea for a design tool – it’s in the name, ye know! Then someone asked me to do my own version of a popular pedal. I looked at the design for it and watched the videos, and… well, this is what I came up with.
It is how a 10 parameter fuzz manipulation tool should be. You can choose whatever transistors you want to go in it, and even request socketing. But one thing is for sure with this – the devices have to be NPN, negative earth.
Custom Fuzzes
The fuzzes were first on the list. I mean… how different can they be? 2x transistors, 2x pots, 2x caps and 4x resistors.
Well, put it this way: you can get chaos with 3x interacting oscillating objects.
Each of these fuzzes or tonebenders has been designed with a bunch of subtle differences, which combined create stunningly different tones and responses.
