Real Tube Experiment Boards Dev-Kit

Unlock the sonic potential of vacuum tubes with the Real Tube Experiment Boards Dev-Kit! This kit is your gateway to DIY audio experimentation, but to truly bring your sonic visions to life, you’ll need a few essential tools, some patience, and a thirst to learn! This kit includes:

• Two development boards (one with male and one with female headers) which match the footprint of the Real Tube Experiment Boards

• A DC connector jack (or battery snap if you prefer)

• Key components, such as protection diodes, adjustment pot and knob, silicone sleeved wire, capacitors, and simulation components for the input feed

To get started, you’ll also need (but are not included):

• A 9V guitar pedal power supply
• A multimeter (two recommended)
• A set of ‘crocs’ (alligator clips)
• A breadboarding kit with patch wires and jump wires
• A soldering iron kit, with solder
• Some quarter inch patch leads
• Female jack connectors
• A good range of resistors (try eBay for these)

Note: THIS KIT DOES NOT COME WITH ANY REAL TUBE EXPERIMENT BOARDS

Don’t forget a good workspace and a passion for tinkering! Make sure you have sturdy bench, a good set of lights, and maybe some help for your eyes, such as glasses or magnifiers.
