“tube” 1J37B Real Tube Experiment Board module

The “tube” is a plug-in Real Tube Experiment board (RTEB) module, loaded with a Soviet era 1J37B rod pentode, sub-miniature “pencil” valve.

This has been designed for the Real Tube Experiment Kit, and RTEB Dev-Kit boards. To insert the board into the Dev-Kit, simply, and carefully, remove the existing board, take the new board, align the pins, taking care to match the orientation to the marking of the host board.

The J201 Fetzer “FET board”, fitted to the TODP pedal, is also compatible with the Real Tube Experiment Kit, and RTEB Dev-Kit. We cannot recommend fitting the Real Tube Experiment Boards to the TODP, however, it will do neither the pedal or the Experiment Board any harm. If you feel inclined to do so, carefully remove the pre-fitted FET board from the pedal, and insert the RTEB, by matching the pins of the “tube” to the headers on the TODP motherboard.

NOTE: You may not sell your TODP with non-RoHS components inside within the EU, EEA, or UK
